MUSIC

Since 1965 when Mick first picked up a guitar and sang with it, he has been involved in music, bands and all things musical. His interests quickly grew to include the 5-string banjo, mandolin, sitar, ukulele, piano and synthesizer and harmonica. He focused his music more or less on blues, rock and roll, and American and English folk music. More recently Mick decided to concentrate just on the guitar and keys, and sold the other instruments.

Lyn and Mick have led worship teams since 1975. In the 70’s and 80’s Mick visited country towns with Shalom, and later Horizon, or solo, or with Roger Ellul. More recently Mick and Lyn have toured the US (2002 and 2004), and UK (2004) with Larry Sturm, appearing on Christian and local TV in the US. Since then Mick has been seen in Sydney with Band of Brothers at the Kairos Cafe, and solo and harmony group at the Murrumbateman Hotel.
